About me

My name is Monica, I'm married to Mark, and together we have two children.

My core values as a couples therapist – as mentioned on the front page – are safety, friendship, and understanding. When these are created or restored, a sense of calm will settle within each of you and between you as a couple. You will become more aware of yourselves, your needs, and as a result, you'll be able to communicate clearly and lovingly with each other.

It won't feel so scary to reach out to one another anymore when you are good friends who stay connected and in regular contact, even in the midst of a busy everyday life. Instead of avoiding each other, you'll naturally want to move closer – out of genuine desire.

I've always been a curious soul, and human beings have always fascinated me – especially how we thrive best, both in relationships and within ourselves. Finding safety, calm, and balance – both mentally and in the nervous system – is something you'll experience in my practice.

My next step is to begin training as a psychotherapist, hopefully in the autumn of 2026.
